And Richard Sherman started Andrew Luck on his fantasy team this week.

I’m noticing a LOT of the issues with this team that the Colts had with Manning.
It’s too one-dimensional. Their defense (granted they have a bunch of injuries but... a lot of teams do) and o-line need vast improvement.

Yeah that’s what happens when you don’t draft well for 4+ years now, rumors are that there’s friction between Pagano (who wanted to address the defense in the offseason) and Grigson (our idiot GM who keeps drafting and signing skill position players) over personnel decisions and right now Pagano’s looking like the smarter dude.
O-line’s always been decent-to-subpar but Peyton did a great job masking it with quick throws and audibles/protection adjustments; meanwhile Luck keeps trying to force big plays so he ends up either getting sacked or turning the ball over. Combine that with a near-nonexistent run game and terrible playcalling and you’ve got the 2015 Colts offense.

Just sucks too cause your division is bad and the Colts may very well still end up winning it, forcing them to have a low pick in the draft... and the cycle continues.
Doesn’t help the owner is a nutjob.

That’s kind of the problem, the Colts will still win 6-8 games at minimum with the possibility of 10+ so we’re perennially stuck in the mid-t0-late picks. On top of that, they’re going to have so much money tied up in skill positions there’s no way they’ll be able to sign talent in the offseason.
Irsay’s an extremely passionate owner and loves the team and its players so his narcotic-enlarged heart is in the right place, but I still don’t think he knows what he’s doing. Dude took over the team in 1997 and drafted Peyton the year after so he’s never really had to address the weaknesses of the team because he’s always had a great QB to cover up their mistakes (which only really works in the regular season and is why we always get curbstomped in the playoffs). One year he didn’t the Colts lost 14 games and now the cycle continues.
This will almost certainly be Pagano’s last year and depending on the team’s record at the end of the year Grigson will probably be fired so those will be steps in the right direction at least. Only thing is Pagano’s rumored replacement is Nick Saban *shudders*

Well, if for one thing... it gives the Jags and Titans false sense of hope.

If Colts fans loves anything it’s crushing the hopes and dreams of the rest of the AFC South. People say the NFC East is full of haters but check Reddit’s /r/nfl subreddit and the AFCS fans troll just as hard.
